After leading Red Star Belgrade to the European Champion Clubs’ Cup title, Dejan Savicevic was bought by AC Milan in summer 1992. Whimsical, unpredictable, gifted with superb technique, he soon became the idol of the demanding San Siro audience. The highest moment of his Rossonero career was his performance in Athens against Cruijff’s Barcelona when his assist to Massaro’s first goal and his outrageous chip sealed the 3-0 win. The ‘Genius’ won 3 Serie A titles with AC Milan, 2 Italian Supercoppas and a European Supercup.
