Santagostino

Born in Milan on 18 March 1901, Giuseppe Santagostino started his football career in AC Milan’s youth sector and made first-team his debut in 1921, where he remained for 12 seasons. Deployed as a winger or as a forward, he scored over 100 goals for the club, thereby joining the list of the top ten leading goal scorers in the club’s history. ‘Pin’ scored the first-ever goal at San Siro on 19 September 1926 in the derby that celebrated the inauguration of the stadium.
