Maldera

Coming from the prolific youth sector of AC Milan, after a short debut in the first team in March 1972, Aldo Maldera spent one year at Bologna to gain experience. When he returned to Milan he regularly played on the left side. A modern full-back with a clear offensive nature, he got along very well with Gianni Rivera, with whom he formed a perfect pair. He scored a memorable goal in the Italian Cup final won in 1977 over Inter, and 9 goals that helped Milan win their 10th league title.
