PRIMAVERA RUN RIOT, LAZETIĆ HAT-TRICK: 4-0 AGAINST ATALANTA

An impressive AC Milan team flying at the PUMA House of Football, Marko's hat-trick and Alesi's goal sink the visitors

A scintillating AC Milan defeated Atalanta decisively: 4-0 the final result at the PUMA House of Football. A one-sided first half - in a performance to be applauded - decisively shaped the match, in which Alesi's goal and Marko Lazetić's brace certified the Rossoneri's supremacy. It was a mature AC Milan that was playing in front of their home fans, who comfortably managed the advantage in the second half, without conceding anything to the guests and rounding off the scoring on the again with the unstoppable striker.

The Rossoneri's offensive trio - Lazetić, Alesi and Scotti were constantly causing problems for the visitor's backline. Another positive was the performance of AC Milan's defensive unit, which proved to be solid and cohesive for the entire ninety minutes. After the Youth League success that guaranteed them first place in the group, the Rossoneri got the three points also in the league after the defeats against Roma and Torino in the previous two rounds. For Abate's boys it will be another week full of commitments: first the Coppa Italia match against Genoa, again at the PUMA House of Football, then it will be time to fly to Lecce in the next Primavera1 matchday.

MATCH REPORT
The start was energetic and balanced, with AC Milan alternating between the narrow lines of the Bergamasque defence. The Rossoneri took the field and opened the scoring shortly after a quarter of an hour: Scotti's controlled cross and Alesi's winning shot in the 17th minute, which gave the 1-0 goal at the front post. AC Milan didn't stop and in the 22nd minute found the deserved second: Alesi passed to Bozzolan, a low cross into the middle and Lazetić's underhit touch made it 2-0. Orbici replied in the 27th minute with Vavassori's effort from the edge of the box deflected for a corner by Nava, while in the 34th minute it was Zeroli who came close to scoring with a low right-footed shot - repelled by Pardel - on Scotti's brilliant pass. In the 35th minute, Alesi regained possession and played in Lazetić, who put his right-footed shot into the corner for his second. In the final minutes of the half, Nava blocked a dangerous header from Tavanti in the centre of the box. 3-0 at the half.

The first chance of the second half was again Rossoneri: Alesi, served deep into the box, didn't think twice and fired first-time, his left-footed shot just missing the target. Atalanta raised their tempo as the minutes passed in search of the goal that could open up the game, but without worrying the Rossoneri's defence. In the 62nd minute it was again AC Milan who made themselves dangerous on the counter: great work by Lazetić who laid it off for Scotti, a low cross for Alesi who hit the post from an excellent position. The Rossoneri were still building and went close to scoring the fourth goal with attempts from distance by Stalmach and Scotti between the 74th and 76th minutes. In the 78th minute, Lazetić received the ball deep in the box, skipped past a man with a body feint and fired a violent left-footer past Pardel, sealing his personal hat-trick. The finale offered no further excitement: it ended 4-0.
