A BIG WIN FROM BEHIND FOR THE PRIMAVERA: 4-1 AGAINST SPAL

Alesi, Traorè, Gala and Rossi turn is around and hand Giunti's side all three points

It was exactly what was needed: a convincing win following a complete performance. The Primavera, who were without their coach due to suspension, turned it around against SPAL and won 4-1 at Vismara in which was a brilliant response to losses at the hands of Cagliari and Fiorentina (Coppa Italia). This was the second consecutive home win in Primavera 1 TIM after beating Juventus 3-1. as the Rossoneri now have eleven points in the table. The morning at Vismara began on a sour note with SPAL taking the lead after just one minute through Forapani. But our lads reacted instantly: Alesi equalised in the 13th minute and Traorè handed AC Milan the lead just two minutes later. After the break, substitutes Gala and Rossi capped off a brilliant day for the Rossoneri in what was a deserved win. It was the third victory in the league this season and we now have three games, with which to finish 2021 on a high: Sampdoria, Pescara and Bologna.

REPORT
AC Milan needed to show a reaction after two consecutive defeats but start the game in the worst way possible. In the second minute, a long ball forward caught the Rossoneri's defence napped and Forapani stuck it past Desplanches with a simple finish: 1-0 to SPAL. The early goal shook the home side awake and the Rossoneri pushed for an immediate equaliser. After missing one chance, Alesi didn't miss the second, making it 1-1 from Di Gesù's assist from inside the box. There was hardly time to celebrate the equaliser before AC Milan took the lead through Chaka Traorè, who tucked it away after a mazy run into the box. The game had been turned on its head and the Rossoneri were carving out chances with relative ease: Traorè (17'), Roback (20') and Di Gesù (26') all forced Rigon into three good saves.

SPAL looked to be on top following the half-time interval and the Biancazzurri pushed hard but were unable to force a shot on target. In the 59th minute, Giunti sent on Gala, who - less than a minute later - put the Rossoneri 3-1 in front with an unstoppable shot. A breath of fresh air in the most delicate phase of the match. A raft of changes was made and, then, AC Milan got their fourth, scored by Rossi, who headed home from Capone's corner - Leonardo has now scored in each of his last two league games. Two late chances for El Hilali and Capone hitting the post provided some late excitement but it remained 4-1.
