It was the first draw of the season in the league for the Rossonere, who were held at 1-1 by Roma at Vismara. It was an intense and level match; the Giallorosse had the edge in the first half but it was all AC Milan in the second. Ganz's team will have regrets about the tough start to the game but can be pleased with how they reacted. The Rossonere gave it their all until the final minute in order to win it, but they just couldn't get the winner. Grimshaw cancelled the opening goal from Serturini and it is a precious point against a good team.
After matchday six in Women's Serie A, the Diavolo sit on 13 points in third place. They are, however, falling behind joint leaders Juve and Sassuolo but there is still a lot of time to make up the ground. We now have the international break; the Rossonere are back in action at 12:30 CEST on Sunday 31 October away in Florence.

REPORT
With Jane dropping to the bench, Maurizio Ganz went with Grimshaw and had Vero drop deeper in midfield. Roma started the game the better of the two sides. After an early chance for Bergamaschi, who, in the seventh minute, fired over, the danger began. In the twelfth minute, a rebound dropped to Andressa in front of goal, whose effort was cleared off the line by Fusetti. Then came the goal. Seconds later, Serturini beat Giuliani from a rather tight angle to give the guests the lead. AC Milan tried to steady themselves; Vero forced Caesar into a save (21'). The guests, however, were still on top and, in the 34th minute, Glionna fired well off target from distance. Half time.
There were no changes from either team at the break. The Rossonere got a bit of good fortune in the 48th minute; Grimshaw's cross struck the post and ended up in the back of the net. AC Milan looked an entirely different team: more confident, more convincing and more positive. In the 52nd minute, Thomas came close to giving the hosts the lead; she latched on to Vero's ball forward and went one-on-one with Ceasar, who held firm to make the save. The chances were flowing for the Rossonere; Stapelfeldt's header was too central to be of any real concern (61') before Giacinti's underhit effort cause no trouble fo the Giallorosse (72'). Between those two chances, Pirone attempted an overhead kick, which went wide - Roma's only real chance of note in the second half. As the game drew to a close, the Diavolo came agonisingly close to finding a winner. In the 77th minute, Grimshaw's deft header from Vero's freekick went just over the bar before Ceasar came up big to deny Giacinti in the box (90'). Full time.
