On debut: AC Milan score four goals (conceding two) in their opening day clash with Udinese. Today was the first game as Champions of Italy and brought about the following stats:
1- AC Milan have scored at least 4 goals in their opening Serie A match of the season for the first time since August 2010 vs Lecce. This is only the second time for the Rossoneri this Century.
2- AC Milan have won all of their opening Serie A matches in the last 3 campaigns; the longest streak for the Rossoneri in MD1 since 1996 (10 wins in a row between 1987 and 1996).
3- In the AC Milan v Udinese match, there were 3 goals in the first 15 minutes of play: the last time a MD1 Serie A match registered at least 3 goals in the first 15 minutes was in 1991/92 (Cagliari v Sampdoria).
4- Davide Calabria played his 150th match in Serie A today, all for AC Milan.
5- Theo Hernández has converted two of his three penalties taken in Serie A: only Gosens (21) has scored more Serie A goals than the French player (19) since he joined the Rossoneri (2019/20 season).
6- Brahim Díaz scored for the first time in Serie A since 25 September 2021 vs Spezia: he netted five out of his eight goals for the Spanish trequartista in the top-flight between August and September.
7- Ante Rebić scored a Serie A goal at San Siro for the first time in 482 days: the previous one before today was against Genoa in April 2021.
8- Ante Rebić has scored 2 or more goals in the same Serie A match for the 4th time in his career, three of those have come at San Siro (2 of those versus Udinese: today and in January 2020).
