The Rossoneri finished the 2019/20 Serie A season in sixth place on a total of 66 points. With the season now over, let’s take a look at all the best facts and statistics on AC Milan’s campaign. The team, individuals and so much more: happy reading!

1- AC Milan scored 63 goals this campaign, their highest total in a single Serie A season since 2012/13 (67 that year).

2- AC Milan earned 45 points from their 21 Serie A games in 2020, only Atalanta did better in this period (47).

3- With Zlatan Ibrahimović on the pitch, AC Milan earned an average of 2.1 points per game this season, the average dropping to 1.4 without our big Swede.

4- Gianluigi Donnarumma saved the most penalties across all competitions out of any goalkeeper in Europe’s Top 5 leagues (five).

5- Theo Hernández completed the most dribbles out of any defender in Serie A (57). Theo also made it into Opta’s best XI for the 2019/20 Serie A season.

6- A perfect balance of points won at home and away: 33 at San Siro and 33 on the road.

7- 18 goals, 29% of the Rossoneri’s total scored, came in the first 15 minutes of the second half. Meanwhile, only five (8% overall) came in the 15 minutes before the break.

13- Alessio Romagnoli finished the season with 1,984 passes completed, boasting a pass accuracy rate of 90.7%. Ismaël Bennacer made 1,762, with a pass accuracy rate of 88.3%.

14- Gianluigi Donnarumma made a total of 101 saves this season, stopping 70.4% of his shots faced.
