AC Milan have partnered with MasterClass, the online education platform that makes it possible for anyone to learn from the best. Over the next twelve months the AC Milan community will benefit from free, unlimited access to all 80+ classes through the MasterClass All-Access Pass, giving the Club's fans an opportunity to exercise their creative skills and curiosity over this period of social distancing.
The MasterClass partnership provides a platform for creative learning producing online classes on a diverse range of topics including sports, business, cooking, film & television, music & entertainment, photography, lifestyle and more. Classes are led by personalities in their respective fields, including Serena Williams on tennis, Stephen Curry on basketball, Anna Wintour on creativity and leadership, Christina Aguilera on singing, Gordon Ramsay on cooking and Natalie Portman on acting.
Through video-streaming classes, downloadable workbooks and apps, MasterClass provides users with a deep insight into the nature of artistic pursuits whilst inspiring a love of the craft.
"MasterClass and AC Milan share the mission of building community and fueling personal growth," said Jonathan Hum, MasterClass VP, Head of Marketing. "We're excited to join forces with AC Milan in their efforts to support and inspire their players and fans, as their official e-learning partner."
Casper Stylsvig, AC Milan's Chief Revenue Officer AC Milan said: "During this current period of change, we are looking at new ways to inspire and engage our fans, and this has led us to embark upon this innovative partnership with MasterClass. We are very excited to share this unique opportunity for AC Milan fans around the world to learn from some of the foremost experts across the fields of sport, business and the arts."
The partnership with MasterClass is AC Milan's latest initiative to give back to its supporters and community during the Covid-19 pandemic. The partnership follows the Clubs partnership with Headspace, announced earlier this month, which helps to address the need for mental health support during this period of uncertainty.
AC Milan have also rolled out a care package service to all over-65 season ticket holders, facilitating essential food and toiletry needs for the most vulnerable. To date, 2,000 care packages and masks have been supplied.
And in a move to support the education of the younger generation, AC Milan partnered with the City of Milan to donate tablets to primary and secondary schools that do not have electronic devices – allowing young students to access vital online learning from home.
To date, AC Milan and Fondazione Milan have raised €600,000 for their Covid-19 relief funds.
