ALESI AND ZEROLI, MILAN FUTURO'S REDEMPTION AT PERUGIA

The Rossoneri played a great game and won 2-0. Kevin with a masterpiece

A golden, precious victory. A victory that had been missing for a month (2-1 to SPAL), our second in Serie C and our first one away. After a difficult period, Milan Futuro relaunched themselves with character and defeated Perugia 2-0 at the Stadio Curi. The goals were scored by Alesi on a free kick and Zeroli with a bicycle kick, and Kevin's goal deserves a special mention: a marvellous technical move that changed the dynamics of the game, inspired by the captain himself. First half brilliant and decisive, second half solid management. A great team performance, surely the best of the season so far: attitude, conviction, sacrifice, changes, of course the goals and the clean sheet.

A practically perfect day. Let's restart from here, from the positive results in a tough game, from the deserved success that must push us to face the next rounds and in general a tough Group B but in which we can be protagonists and in which we must have our say. Three vital points, the Rossoneri thus rise to ninth in the standings. In one move, they leave the position at the bottom of the table and arrive very close to the safe zone. The next day is already around the corner, Wednesday 30 October at 18:30 CET at the Stadio Chinetti in Solbiate Arno, where we will face Pineto on Matchday 12 of the championship.

MATCH REPORT

AC Milan got off to an aggressive start, although the first real attacking action came from Perugia: in the 10th minute Mezzoni's cross and Giraudo's left-footer was wide. But we scored the first goal, in the 18th minute, thanks to Alesi after a run and a foul on Zeroli: a free kick from the limit, deflected by Mezzoni to beat Gemello. In the 25th minute Alesi returned, firing Magni's through-ball over the crossbar. In the 27th minute came the second goal, a feat: Bartesaghi had a shot, the goalkeeper rejected, Zeroli on the rebound drew a crazy bicycle kick into the corner of the net. The Rossoneri played well and continued attacking, but the opponents tried to react: in the 36th minute Seghetti's shot was carefully blocked by Raveyre, in the 40th minute Mezzoni unleashed and again Raveyre said no. What a thrill close to the interval, when Seghetti collected a short ball and fired away: Raveyre once again took care of it, providential.

The Biancorossi pressed at the start of the second half, with Di Maggio challenging Raveyre on a couple of occasions. In the 57th minute Liberali's quick restart found Fall, a beautiful play and a winning left-footed shot, but the goal did not count for a offside by (perhaps) fine margins. The match was stagnant, with AC Milan managing to concede little or nothing: in the 65th minute Angella's header from a corner was just about managed by Raveyre. In the 72nd minute Omoregbe could have put the seal on it, heading towards Gemello without getting past him. The Diavolo insisted, and in the 78th minute Vos‘ powerful right-footer finished just high. In the added time, Raveyre made yet another save on Polizzi's shot. The final whistle.
