MILAN FUTURO LOSE 3-1 TO LEGNAGO SALUS AT HOME

The visitors come from behind as the Rossoneri finish with nine men

Milan Futuro fell to a second consecutive home defeat this evening. At the Chinetti in Solbiate Arno, Legnago Salus made the most of their man advantage to score three goals in the closing stages and win 3-1. The Rossoneri had taken the lead at the end of the first half through Davide Bartesaghi's first professional goal, but they were forced to play with ten men from the 74th minute following Ballo-Touré's sending-off. The visitors then came from behind to record their second victory of the season and draw level with Bonera's side in the table.

To compound a disappointing evening, Milan Futuro were reduced to nine in second-half stoppage time after Jiménez was shown a second yellow card. The result was harsh on the team, who are currently dealing with injuries and suspensions, given that the Rossoneri were deservedly in front when it was 11 v 11. In a match that, beyond the goals, lacked excitement, the Slovenian Zukić enjoyed a positive debut, coming close to scoring. Bonera's team remain on six points in the league and are now looking ahead to their coming fixtures in the hope of bouncing back. They have an opportunity to do just this when they face Perugia away from home at 12:30 CEST on Sunday 27 October. Come on, boys!

MATCH REPORT
The match started at a slow pace in Solbiate Arno, with possession alternating between the two sides. In the opening half an hour, there were some promising moments from Ballo-Touré and Traorè down the left flank, but they didn't lead to any clear-cut chances. The first real opportunity fell the way of the visitors as Bombagi sent a header narrowly off target. At the other end, Traorè won back the ball from Pelagatti before seeing his right-footed effort saved by Rigon. In the 39th minute, Raveyre beat Svidercoschi to the ball and launched a counter-attack that ended with Camarda winning a corner. And from that corner, Milan Futuro took the lead: Sandri sent in a cross for Bartesaghi, who bagged his first professional goal. In added time, Rigon pushed a left-footed effort from Sandri over the bar.

The second half kicked off with Cuenca on for Camarda, and Milan Futuro generally looked the more purposeful side, even if chances remained at a premium. After an attempt from the visitors - Franzolini nodded off target on the 62-minute mark - Sandri played in a free-kick for Zukić, whose header was punched away by Rigon. In the 74th minute, the match-changing incident took place: Ballo-Touré received his second yellow and was given his marching orders. It gave the visitors a boost, and they went on to turn the game around in the space of three minutes: Martić bagged an equaliser with a right-footed strike from distance (82'), while Franzolini then beat Raveyre to make it 2-1 (85'). The Rossoneri didn't give up as Omoregbe called Rigon into action after 88 minutes, but they were reduced to nine men in stoppage time (Jiménez was sent off for a second bookable offence) and Demirović then added a third.
