REIJNDERS BAGS AGAIN, PULISIC ALSO SCORES

Tijj and Chris shone in draws for the Netherlands and USA. 0-0 for Chukwueze and Nigeria

With Tuesday's games, we can definitively consider the first international break of the season as over. Amongst the Rossoneri, Tijjani Reijnders stood out once again, scoring in Amsterdam after the big performance in Eindhoven. Tijj played the full 90 of Netherlands 2-2 Germany in their second Nations League game, opening the scoring after just a few moments thanks to a precise shot that beat ter Stegen. The draw sees the Oranje sit at the top of their group on four points.

Speaking of goals, Christian Pulisic also scored: he came on in the 57th minute and gave the USA the lead with a shot across the box in the 69th minute against New Zealand. It ended 1-1 in Cincinnati. Yunus Musah also played the first half of the friendly. Same for Samuel Chukwueze in the goalless draw between Rwanda and Nigeria in Kigali on the road to the African Cup of Nations qualification. The Super Eagles sit top of their group with four points. Ahead of World Cup 2026 qualification, Cuenca came on at the end of Paraguay vs. Brazil which ended in a surprising 1-0 win in Asunción and allowed them to move up the table.

The Italy U20s were defeated 0-3 in Rieti in the Elite League after the positive debut. Torriani played the full game, Bartesaghi played almost an hour and Zeroli picked up 45 minutes coming on in the second half. Finally, Italy U19s with Liberali and Magni, as well as Bakoune and Sia, drew 2-2 against Croatia in Čakovec after going down to ten men, to finish top at the International Tournament.
