REIJNDERS SHOW: A GOAL AND ASSIST IN FRIENDLY WIN

Tijjani Reijnders shone in Amsterdam last night as the Netherlands put four past Scotland in a 4-0 friendly win. There was nothing riding on the game but our player was in fine form, scoring his first goal for the senior national team and also providing a first assist. The goal, which broke the deadlock, was beautiful: a strong right-footed shot from distance into the top corner; he celebrated it on Instagram, where several Rossoneri and Dutch teammates praised him. And the assist was not bad either: a ball forward that cut open the opposition rearguard and rewarded Malen's finish for the fourth. It was a game to remember for Tijjani, who is currently in excellent form and continues to reaffirm his quality.
