INTERNATIONALS: THE ROSSONERI CALLED UP

A lot of friendlies but many decisive showdowns too: the final international break of the season will see a wide variety of interesting fixtures played. 13 Rossoneri players have been called up to their respective national teams, with Florenzi, Tonali, Leão and Ibrahimović hoping to help their countries make it to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Should Italy and Portugal progress to the final of their playoff path, the first three would encounter one another. Pierre Kalulu, and Ismaël Bennacer have competitive fixtures coming up: the former is ready to represent France U21s in Euro Under-21 qualifying, the latter will face Cameroon in the play-offs for Qatar 2022. Friendlies are in store for the remaining players, with Olivier Giroud back in the France squad for the first time since the European Championship last summer.
