Mister Baldo's Under-16 team also returned to the field over the weekend, beating Hellas Verona at home after a lively match, with the score hanging in the balance until the final whistle. Starting again with a victory was by no means a foregone conclusion, especially considering the prolonged absence from the pitch in official matches, with the 7-0 win against Südtirol that ended the year on 3 December.

The 1-0 win against the Scaligeri - the first matchday of the second half of the season - allowed the Rossoneri's Under-16's to obtain their third consecutive win in the league and reach 27 points. Just the nine goals conceded at this point in the season unite the top three in the division, while the Rossoneri have collected four clean sheets in the ten league matches played so far, two against the Veronesi between the first half and the second half. The 37 goals scored, on the other hand, are a record haul for AC Milan. Next stop is the away match against Brescia, with the aim of extending the winning streak and follow on from the recent performances.
