He has an increasingly bright future. Italian tennis star Jannik Sinner, a big Rossoneri fan, once again showed the immense qualities he possesses as he made it to the quarter-finals of the 2020 French Open. At the age of 19 years and 56 days, Jannik became the youngest Italian to reach the last eight of a Grand Slam tournament, while he also became the youngest quarterfinalist at Roland Garros since Novak Djokovic, another AC Milan supporter, made it to the same stage in 2006. It was the Italian's first appearance in the tournament.
The only one able to stop him in his tracks was Rafael Nadal, Mr. Roland Garros. The Majorcan reached his 13th Roland Garros semi-final, recording his 98th win from 100 French Open matches in the process. Thanks to his impressive performance, Sinner will be the new number 46 in the world rankings from Monday. An up-and-coming star who shows no sign of slowing down: well done Jannik, keep it up!
