OP-ED: A DEBUT WITHIN A DEBUT

I was fated to be a Milanista before I was even born. My dad passed on his passion for this Club to me and from my earliest years (I was born in 1991) I’d watch his recordings of Sacchi’s side’s European Cup finals instead of cartoons.

I got my first jersey when I was eight, Andriy Shevchenko’s shirt, my idol! I still treasure it to this day. However, I never got to go to San Siro with my dad due to his work commitments, so my first time was truly was a dream come true. It also happened to be a historic moment: Gigio’s debut against Sassuolo! Milan is my creed, my passion, my everything. Forza Milan, always.
