VOTE THE MVP FOR MARCH 2024

Christian Pulisic, Theo Hernández, Rafael Leão and Noah Okafor: who performed best last month?

Four players but just one award: Christian Pulisic, Theo Hernández, Rafael Leão and Noah Okafor are in the running to be named as the Rossoneri MVP for March 2024. AC Milan won six out of six last month, beating Lazio, Empoli, Verona and Fiorentina in Serie A and Slavia Praha twice in the Europa League. But who will take the baton from Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who was both our January and February MVP? Pulisic scored four goals in March, thus reaching double figures on a personal level and helping the Club achieve the big milestone of 5000 Serie A goals.

The US international, who recently won the CONCACAF Nations League with his country, scored against Slavia Praha both home and away, as well as against Empoli and Verona in the Italian top flight. Theo was, as usual, a dominant force down the left and showed real persistency to open the scoring at the Bentegodi, where he was the best player on the pitch. He also made his mark at the Eden Aréna in Prague, setting up Loftus-Cheek for the Rossoneri’s second goal.

As for Rafa, he scored a fantastic goal against Fiorentina in the team’s last outing. He picked up the MVP award from that match at the Franchi, where he also provided an assist for Rubes. Furthermore, the Portuguese man took centre stage in AC Milan’s Europa League clash in the Czech Republic: he found the net with a lovely right-footed curling strike, which he then replicated for his country against Sweden during the recent international break. Last month also saw him provide an assist for Pulisic, who bagged the final goal of the game in the Diavolo’s 4-2 home victory over Slavia.

Finally, Noah Okafor played a decisive role in the late win against Lazio at the Olimpico on the first day of March. In fact, he scored the winner in the capital to make it two goals against the Biancocelesti this season following his finish in the reverse fixture. The Swiss attacker also made a difference against Empoli in Serie A, picking out Pulisic for the winning strike. Throughout the campaign, Okafor has always been ready to help the team.
