THIAW IS THE MVP FROM AC MILAN v TOTTENHAM

On his full Champions League debut, Malick Thiaw did not feel the pressure of the occasion. Up against a star-studded Tottenham strike force, the 21-year-old showed all of his physical attributes, character and quality, thus being voted by the Rossoneri supporters, via the AC Milan Official App, as the best player on the night. 

Over the 90 minutes, he won the most tackles (four), intercepted the most number of balls (three), and kept his concentration right until the end of the game, backing up his strong showing last Friday in the league win over Torino.

Despite not finding many opportunities in the first part of the season, Malick has shown he is ready to step up to the plate and be trusted with some excellent performances, in what has been a difficult period. Another strong performance against Tottenham saw him earning 76% of the vote from the Rossoneri faithful.

In the closing stages of the game, he even came close to doubling the home side's lead with a header that went inches wide, and with Forster beaten; it would have been the icing on the cake. Keep up the good work, Malick!
