SAELEMAEKERS IS THE MVP FROM EMPOLI v AC MILAN

Alexis received the most votes after the Rossoneri's 4-2 win

A performance that was near to perfection, one with great heart. Alexis Saelemaekers was a giant; he didn't score he set up Kessie for the Rossoneri's second in the 4-2 win at the Castellani. He was played out of position on the left and he ran, crossed and passed his way through the game. It was a display of great sacrifice and heart that was vital for his team. The fans noticed this a named him their clear MVP from Empoli v AC Milan.

Alexis received over 50% of the votes to beat Kessie, Florenzi and Hernández. His numbers were stellar and underlined what a good evening he had. Saelemaekers, who started, had the most touches (74), fouls received (6), crosses (5), chances created and duels won (3) of any AC Milan player, as well as the most shots on target (2). "We showed that we're back and that we're a good team," he said after the game. It is thus thanks in no small part to him.
