KESSIE MVP FROM AC MILAN V UDINESE

Franck voted as the Rossoneri's best performer in the 1-1 draw at San Siro

Following his penalty against Roma, he scored another from the spot yesterday evening. While it didn't contribute to a victory, his finish from twelve yards rescued a point for AC Milan in stoppage time. When Kessie steps up to take a spot-kick, a goal usually follows. But that's not all: a solid performance from the Ivorian is almost always a guarantee, and this is what he produced against Udinese. At San Siro, Franck kept his composure to secure a 1-1 draw for his side. And this undoubtedly prompted our fans to select him as the Rossoneri's MVP from the clash. Indeed, he received 70% of the vote share, allowing him to finish ahead of Romagnoli, Kjær and Meïté.

Kessie's 25th Serie A goal in Rossoneri colours (he's now equalled Robinho's top-flight goal haul for AC Milan) was the latest that the Diavolo have netted in Italy's top division since April 2017 (when Zapata found the net in the Derby). He’s also the first Rossoneri player to have scored at least eight penalties in a single Serie A season since Jérémy Ménez in 2014/15. During yesterday's match, Franck had the most shots on target (two) out of all his teammates, while his dribble success rate was 100%. He also recovered the ball on seven occasions.
