After making a name for himself with his goals and quick turns playing for Como and Virescit, Marco Simone joined AC Milan in 1989 at the request of Arrigo Sacchi. Despite his young age, he showed no fear of anything or anybody scoring a memorable goal on his European debut against Mechelen. Wearing his trademark white boots, he was at his best when paired with George Weah. Over the course of his eight seasons at AC Milan, he won 4 Serie A titles, 3 Italian Supercoppe, 2 European Champion Clubs’ Cups, 2 Intercontinental Cups and 3 European Supercups.
